Was one of the coolest hodgepodge museums I've been to. They have everything from pony express artifacts to old farm and blacksmithing equipment and some local history items.

Response from Pony Express Barn & Museum We have finished renovations which were started in November of last year. We hope we captured the essence of the history we love. We added new displays and signage. We also built several new displays. Ultimately it is the original Pony Express Barn in its original location that brings us closer to the history. Built in 1860 it served as one part of Home Station Number 1. Here there was a large blacksmith shop and stables for the ponies ridden on the Pony Express Trail. We are the only existing and surviving home station built for the Pony Express. An added bonus in the only surviving swing station in its original location jut 20 miles away.
