Tinnie Ludowine Koester Helvering, Charles and Sylvia Koester’s oldest child, was born 148 years ago in the house that is now the Koester House Museum. Tinnie, affectionately known by her family as “Tinks” lived most of her 79 years in the house. The Koester House Museum has many family treasures including the cradle given to her by her uncle John Broughten.
